Rainbow Moonstone

Rainbow moonstone is a stunning gemstone characterized by a milky-white body and a vibrant play-of-color known as adularescence, most famously displaying flashes of blue, green, and purple. Despite its name, it is scientifically a variety of white labradorite (plagioclase feldspar) rather than true orthoclase moonstone.
